Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inter-College ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Platform Services

Inter-College provides a cloud-based school management platform including student information management, fee recording, attendance tracking, examination management, and school website services, subject to your subscription plan.

The Platform is early-stage software and parts of it are incomplete. In particular, and without limiting the description elsewhere on our site, it does not currently provide online fee payment by parents, SMS or WhatsApp sending, push notifications, automated reminders or scheduled messaging, self-service data export, or PDF generation for report cards, fee receipts, payslips or ID cards. Nothing on our website or in any proposal should be read as a commitment to deliver a feature that is described as planned or on our roadmap.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected during signup.
• Setup fees are one-time, non-refundable charges.
• Subscription payments are invoiced and settled by bank transfer or UPI today; we do not store card details, and a self-service payment gateway is on our roadmap.
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after 7 days notice.

4. Prohibited Use

• Uploading illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempting to breach platform security or access other tenants' data.
• Using the platform for any purpose other than school management.
• Sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons.

5. Availability

The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not commit to an uptime percentage, offer service credits, or operate a separate service level agreement, and any statement to the contrary elsewhere should be disregarded. We aim to give reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance and to restore service promptly after an unplanned outage, but neither is a contractual guarantee at this stage of the product.

6. Data Ownership and Return

The school retains ownership of all student and institutional data. Inter-College acts as a data processor.

There is currently no self-service export in the Platform. You may request a complete copy of your school's records at any time, including on termination, by writing to us. We will produce that copy manually and provide it in a machine-readable format, and we will keep your data available for at least 30 days after termination so that a copy can be requested and delivered. We will delete your school's schema after that period, or sooner on your written request.

7. Limitation of Liability

Inter-College's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
