We are a small team solving a big problem: giving every school access to the tools that were once only affordable for the largest institutions. We would love your help.
Inter-College exists because most schools cannot afford the expensive ERP systems that the largest institutions use. We build one platform — admissions, fees, attendance, exams, payroll, transport, hostel, library, and a public website — priced so a 200-student school can afford the same tools as a 5,000-student one.
We have not onboarded our first school yet — we are in the middle of doing exactly that. Joining now means building the thing and putting it in front of its first users in the same week, with no layer of process in between, and it means the honesty about what is unfinished that you can read on the rest of this site applies internally too.
What makes Inter-College different from a typical software job.
We are onboarding our first schools now, so what you ship lands in front of a real office in days. You will hear directly whether it helped.
Small team, big scope. You will own entire modules end to end — from the first conversation with a school to the code running in production.
Roles are remote-first. We care about output, not which city you work from.
Everyone, regardless of role, talks to school administrators and teachers regularly. Product decisions are grounded in what schools actually need.
Do not see an exact fit? Email us anyway — we are always happy to talk to people who care about education.
Build and ship features across a Django REST Framework backend and React and Next.js frontends — fee management, exams, the parent app, the school website builder. Plenty of the platform is half-built and named as such; closing those gaps is the job.
Be the person our first schools actually talk to — sit with an office through their first term, work out which gaps hurt most, and carry that back to whoever is writing the code that week.
Lead new schools through onboarding: getting their records in by hand, configuring the school, and training staff through their first month. There is no bulk import yet, so this is genuinely hands-on work.
Find schools worth talking to, run the first conversation, and book demos. You would be selling a product with real gaps that we state up front — if that sounds harder than it needs to be, this is not the role for you.
Be the first response for school administrators and teachers hitting an issue. Triage, resolve what you can, and write up genuine bugs with a clear reproduction for whoever is fixing them.
Send us your resume and a note about what you would want to work on. We read every email.
