Admission number, class and section, guardians, photo — and the attendance and fees that belong to that child, on the same screen.
Inside the portal
Showing Student records in the Inter-College portal.
Built around the question your office is asked twenty times a day: pull up this child, and tell me where they stand.
Admission number, date of birth, class and section, photo, and the guardians attached to that child with a primary contact — held per academic year, in one place instead of four registers.
Search by name or admission number and filter by class, section or status. The front desk stops walking to the filing cabinet.
Open a child's file and their attendance record and fee payments are already there. No cross-referencing a second register to answer a parent at the counter.
Walk-in and phone enquiries are logged, turned into applications, and moved through review to accepted or rejected — so your admissions season has a list rather than a notebook.
Three steps, and the file fills itself in from there.
Define the classes, sections and academic year your school actually runs. Everything else hangs off those.
Create each child's file with their admission number, photo and details, and attach the guardians who should be contacted, marking one as primary.
Mark attendance, record fees, enter marks, issue a certificate. Each of those writes back to the same file, so the child's record fills itself in as the year goes on.
There is no spreadsheet or CSV import. Students are added one at a time through the portal. If you are bringing a whole school across, talk to us — we will do the first load for you by hand.
Your school's website describes admissions, but there is no online application form on it. Enquiries reach you through the site's contact form or over the counter, and your office types the application in.
Moving a class up at the end of the year, and archiving leavers as alumni, are not built. Status values exist on the record but nothing drives them.
Attaching a birth certificate or a previous school's TC to a student's file is written at the API level but has no screen in the portal. Documents stay in your physical file for now.
Two children from one family are two separate records with no link between them, and there is no house system.
There is no screen that creates a parent's login and ties it to their child — we set those up with you during onboarding. A parent cannot sign themselves up, and cannot edit their own contact details in the app.
